Love yourself, love others, feel radiant and confident.

Hi all! Its a wonderful day today, things have been a whirl wind in the last few weeks, but I’m really enjoying the journey I’ve had in the last few months, marketing my iLearningGlobal business, and learning from all the wonderful people, mentors, new friends, and other marketers.

Today I would love to write this article for my dear friend Nona, who I met through Facebook marketing my business. I must really say in a day and age where internet and technology is rapidly advancing I’m so amazed that I can connect with people half around the world and feel like I’ve known them for a lifetime. It really goes to shows that regardless of where you are, what you do, and who you are, connection with new friends really does transcend the limits of distance no matter how far it is! I would encourage you all start connecting with people around the world, its amazing experience, and really fun!!!

I would like thank everyone so far for their support in reading my articles and quotes, and I really appreciate all that you have done for me, it literally feels like I have you guys to prop me up , when I’m climbing up a big mountain, knowing that if I do fall theres always someone to catch me!

Today’s article will be my 7 point usual style, I hope you all do find it very useful!!!

1. Where does self confidence come from?

I like to believe that a lack of self confidence comes from doubt. Doubt about yourself. I find that in most cases, it is not the fact that people doubt you which causes you to lose your self confidence, it is the fact that you give into believing what other people believe about you, that causes you to feel a loss in confidence.

Have you guys ever heard of the phrase blissfully ignorant? Well thats absolutely it. If I go around believing that the grass is blue, that I am a rock star, and I will one day reach the moon, and everyone body tells me I’m crazy, I’m nuts and seriously deluded, if it makes me happy does it really matter, now compare that to someone who “faces” reality and begins to believe that because what everyone is telling them that for example, happiness doesn’t come unless you have 1 million dollars, no problems and 1000 friends, who do you think is going to feel more better about themselves?

Sometimes even though the majority is doubting us, it sometimes doesn’t matter. What about the one guy Galileo who got criticized for telling everyone the Earth actually revolved around the sun, instead of the other way around.

I’m not telling you to act crazy, and make some profound statement that makes everyone think you are so, but the next time you are feeling a lack of self confidence, ask yourself, is it because everyone stopped believing you, or because you stopped believing in yourself. This is why its important to get a group of peers that will raise your standard, give you criticism when you need it and will support you when you feel you are about to fall. One phrase that always resounds with me, that I heard at an Anthony Robbins seminar. Whoever is the most certain wins!

2. Why is faith so important?

Faith can be in anything, yourself, a higher power, your friends, your family. Faith is believing that you are not alone. Even when you have faith in yourself, have you noticed that it feels like the world is supporting you. I can remember times when I have achieved something momentous, and it didn’t matter I was alone, it was faith in myself that made me feel so important. I do alot of fitness training, most of this is done by myself. But I always tell my self in my own head “You can do it”, “you have the ability to achieve”, “Yes I can yes I can”. And the days that I hit a big goal, like bench pressing 100kg or leg pressing 500kg, I just tell myself, WHOOO!!! You go Kase, You’re awesome!!! (It didn’t really matter no one was around to see me do it). These are just affirmations, but whether they are from yourself or other people or a higher power through prayer, it does wonders for your confidence in yourself.

3. Become a positive people magnet.

Learn to attract like minded people. Don’t ever feel you need to deal with everything by yourself, whether its with other people, or problems. Be a stunning example of excellence for yourself and others. This is something I learnt from Anthony Robbins. Lets say that you are a small bucket of positive light green paint. Then someone negative comes into your life, which represents grey paint. Then another negative person comes into your life, which is more grey paint (it doesn’t matter what colours you are using). After a certain amount of time, your while paint suddenly becomes grey!! And you end up becoming a negative person yourself! How to counteract this? Bring more positive people into your life. Bring such an abundance of happy, positive, successful people, that any negative people that come into your life, you will eventually help them because light green and positive!!! Funny example but its true!

4. Master yourself and master the basics before you learn to deal with anyone else.

There is a really nice quote I heard and I’ve mentioned this before. “I am not afraid of the man who has 10,000 punches and uses them once, I’m afraid of the man who has 1 punch and uses it 10,000 times”. Learn the basics of feeling happy, successful and dealing with yourself. Learn how to listen to that inner voice in your head and make sure that it is always is supporting you instead of putting you down. Your voice is a tool, make sure to use it in the right way. Don’t let it control you. When you use a power tool such as cordless drill, do you guide it and tell it what to do, or do you just drop it somewhere above your wood work and HOPE it does the right thing by drilling the right holes. Its going to run rampant if you do that!!! Don’t let your mind do the same thing to you. Learn to master your mind and emotional intelligence every day, watch what you say and how you feel, once you do this day in and day out, you will learn how to deal with others because you are also dealing with their minds.

5. Being happy, changes everything.

Happiness doesn’t mean a sports car, or a 10 million dollar mansion. Its enjoying where you are in the current moment, practice it every single day, even if only for half an hour. Its not the sports car that makes people happy, its the feeling of achievement, the feeling of abundance, the appreciation of the moment, how happy you feel driving the car and noticing every little thing about it. As I mentioned before, practise being happy, because this will teach you how to deal with problems inside and outside yourself. How can you learn to fly, if you’re always scared about where you’re going to fall. How can you overcome a problem and have confidence in yourself, if you’re compounding the problem by doubting yourself more on top of what other people might be saying to you as well. You are your own beacon of light, shine brightly outwards and let it lighten and inspire people.

6. Tell yourself “YOU ARE AWESOME” every single day and believe it.

Affirmations are fantastic, the more you say it the more you will believe in it. Learning to PRAISE yourself, rather than doubting yourself is one of the best ways to feel confident. When you wake up and look in the mirror, tell yourself, YOU ARE AWESOME! I love everything about you! I know that initially you may not believe what you see in the mirror, but the more you repeat this, it becomes habit, then it becomes who you are. This is why saying affirmations every day is more important than just writing them down. You engage, voice, feeling, motion, words, sight, every time you say an affirmation in front of the mirror. After a while you will learn to feel great doing it. Its kind of like if you have been working out every day for 3-6 months, and have a really great body. You will just praise yourself every time you see yourself in the mirror, not because you are being vain but because you are acknowledging yourself for your success, and telling yourself, “YOU DESERVE THIS! YOU DESERVE SUCCESS!”.

7. Find some inspiring music, that makes you feel blessed happy and on top of the world.

I think this why I love dancing and listening to music so much. Its such an expression of myself, my confidence and I really just love to express it whenever I can. A few people might know this, especially if you have studied NLP but music can act as a trigger. If you know a piece of music that everytime you play makes you feel confident and happy, then play it often. Make a tracklist/album of all your happy positive songs. Everytime I write these articles I am always listening to great positive happy music, so that my feelings always pour into the words that I write in these articles. I don’t know if anyone feels this, but I sorta feel that I put my personality and expression, soul into my articles.

They’re not meant to be technically great but they’re meant to be an expression of me. So I encourage you to find some music that makes you feel joyous and happy and play it even when you are saying your affirmations and feeling confident about yourself. Every little bit helps, music is amazing as it can affect our moods so much, so why not listen to great happy music and not sad music. This becomes really powerful when you connect to a song, through the artist and through the people that listen to the same song. Its wonderful. I love going to a night club, and then listening to a great song play, and you instantly notice how much more energy and aliveness comes into each person on the dance floor.

Well thats it for me guys, I was going to keep it a short one, but looks like I done another Kase again! hehehe. I really appreciate you all for listening to me, and hope that I can continue to inspire you and others with my articles.
