Life is a movie in the making, make it a masterpiece!

Hi everyone,
Hope everyone is great today!!! I’m feeling quite great so I thought I would write another article for you all. Today was a very interesting day indeed!!! As many of you know I have been marketing a self improvement company called ILG/ilearningglobal which I am very passionate about, because I love to help people and I think that self improvement and education is one of the best things in life because no one can ever take away what you have learnt, and its fantastic to share the things you have learnt with people so that you can be apart of their lives.
So wow, I opened up my email and pretty much found out that ILG has decided to change their business model and drop the network marketing model. This means that marketers who are helping to market the company will no longer be earning commissions to help market the product. I find this a little sad, because I am very passionate about helping others out and it was a business which really aligned with my values. I found that I learnt alot from the videos they had, and it taught me many things, like the gift of receiving. Learning to accept from people, so that you may give them the gift of giving.
So the ILG chapter in my life has closed, and I would like to write out my next chapter of my life from today. I would love to say however I have been so fortunate to have met everyone of you reading this article on Facebook, and everyone in my friends list. These last few months have been wonderful and some of the happiest times in my life on this journey, because I have learnt what it really means to be happy, and have helped and inspired so many people. This is something that I will continue to do regardless, I will continue posting quotes to inspire people, helping them and writing articles for my growing fan base. I would like to wish you all a sincere thank you and I appreciate you from the bottom of my heart, and I hope to continue getting to know more about you all. I will be looking for the next opportunity with my current team that aligns with my values and will keep up the positivity.
As I’ve always mentioned, its not the how that really matters its how strong your why is. Most people would climb Mount Everest if it meant saving a loved one, even if their equipment broke, or they injured their legs. But however you wouldn’t do it if for a piece of chocolate… not unless it was an unlimited supply of Fererro Roche or something heheh =). So my how has disappeared for now, but my why is still the same, my belief is still the same, and I hope that by writing this article for you all, it teaches you never to give up your dreams and beliefs even if your hows disappear from time to time. I am thinking of perhaps to become a writer or maybe start selling some ebooks of my writing. Anything is possible =)
So today, I have an article for you called, “Life is a movie in the making, make it a masterpiece”.
————————–
1. You are the director of the movie that is your life. Choose your vision, direction, and how you want to be seen by your audience.
I think its really amazing that alot of us do not direct our own lives. We simply take the direction that our environment gives us, and we let the people in our life shape it. Think about a movie, think about the last great movie you watched. What type of effect does it have on the audience. The director doesn’t ask the audience what they want, he picks his vision, then he goes about crafting the movie, directing it into a masterpiece. If he’s passionate, and done a good job, and finally plays it, he will move the audience and shape them, inspire them and make them change their lives. Think about Avatar, how great was that movie? It was beautifully shaped, has a great story line, amazing imagery and really captured our hearts. So why not leave a legacy for your own life, do not let events especially the bad ones, and other people control your life. Create your own dream, vision, decide what you want and broadcast it to others. If you have the heart, people will watch your movie, and follow you.
2. Pick your audience, pick your critics, don’t try to please everyone.
Your life is a movie. You get to pick the type of audience you want to watch it, by deciding the elements of the movie that will attract the type of fans you want, whether its a “chick flick”, “action hero movie”, “melodrama”, “comedy”. So by this I mean, pick the type of friends and peers you want. Surround yourself with the type of friends, you admire and love to be around. You can always pick who your friends are. So if you love to help people improve their lives then you want to surround yourself with a similar audience of friends and peers who will be attracted to your movie (your life), or if you like comedy you want to find friends and peers who love humour in their lives. A great movie also never pleases everyone. Can you imagine trying to make a movie, that is melodramatic, funny, epic, sad, inspiring, horror, thriller, and romantic at the same time! Its not going to happen. Pick a few elements of your life that resound with you and find the right fan base for you. Trying to please everyone is like trying to write a movie that incorporates all these elements in one go!
3. You’re life is a movie, it has a beginning, middle, and ending.
Whats so enjoyable about a movie, is not specifically just the beginning, middle or end its about the whole journey. Its all the elements it brings that make it so spectacular, and how it all ties together. So make your life a journey, full of many magical moments and elements. Don’t try to ride out one achievement your whole life, its like watching a movie with a great start and boring middle and end. Try to make the whole journey enjoyable for you and your audience, by always growing, and achieving and engaging those around you.
4. What lens/filters are you using for your movie?
Everything is always about perspective, perspective changes everything. Friends come and go, family stays forever, events happen all the time and problems will always be there. So whats the difference. The difference is what type of lens / filter do you see your world through. Do you see everything that happens in your life through a black and white lens or vibrant coloured lens. Is your lens blurry or is it crystal clear what exactly is happening in your life and where is it going? You see, its never the problems that change your life its how you deal with them. Have you notice how your problems see to get bigger and bigger as you grow older? This isn’t a bad idea, problems are challenges which force us to grow. They get bigger as we become more capable of handling them. But the bigger the problems are, usually the bigger our achievements are. I remember that last time when I was young, my problems were simply like looking for a job. Now they’re more complex like finding a satisfying career or finding life’s purpose. This is a great thing, because the more our problems grow, the more we grow from learning how to deal with them. If you saw every problem as a way to grow instead of a hindrance to life you will ultimately do well well.
5. A movie like a book has many chapters and sequences.
When something bad happens, or something is over, close that chapter and open the next one. Do you ever read the book, get to chapter that’s really sad or unfinished, then close the book and stop reading it? No you keep reading the book, watching the movie and see the whole journey as it goes along. Each stage of your life your life is a phase, when you’re a baby, when you’re a kid, teenager, adult, parents, grand parents. It is just a series of stages, we evolve and move on to the next chapter after closing a chapter but we never close the book. Keep reading, keep living, keep watching. Life is a journey, enjoy it while you can.
6. Your life is a journey and your journey is a car ride.
I posted this quote the other day:
“Let your goals be your destination, let your passion and desire to succeed be your vehicle, let your friends be the company in the car, and let their gratitude be your fuel, and lastly let your focus and discipline be your map, and always ask yourself, do you know why you went on this trip in the first place?” – Kase Cheah
Today I lost my vehicle, but guess what I’m still moving forward, with my friends nonetheless. I know where I’m going and have a clear vision of they why, which is the most important. I’m just walking forward and waiting for the next vehicle to jump in, hopefully upgrading to a Ferrari! Regardless of what happens, never start going back into bad habits by isolating those who care about your, staying off the road (how can you catch a lift if you’re not even on the road) or walking backwards. Life always has a purpose and teaches us specific things for a reason.
Sometimes the bad things in your life turn out to be good things in the future. Eg. You might have driven your car, and got flat tyre on a sharp object on the road. But who knows, if you hadn’t gotten that flat tyre, you might have fallen off the broken bridge at the end of the road. Everything always happens for a reason, just let your faith and confidence in yourself and others guide you.
7. Lastly, you control how the audience and feels and reacts to you.
The quality of your relationships with the people in your life will determine how you lead your life. Much like the same way that your audience reacts to your movie will determine whether you’ve produced a good movie or not. So your life, will be determined by the value you provide others, by the journey you take them on, and how you interact and build relationships with them. This is completely up to your direction on how you broadcast your movie that if your life, make is a masterpiece!!!
Thats if for you, I hope you all found that useful. I thought that if any of you are feeling a little down today, you will begin to realise its just a chapter in your life you can close today and open a new one tomorrow. Your life is a movie that doesn’t end till you choose it to.
Peace, love, and stay inspired as always,
Warmest regards,
Kase
