Boulder uphill

If you're 90% of the way there, and you get to the hardest part of the mountain, don't let go!!!

Hi all you wonderful people out there,

Wow I had the most nicest surprise today!!! I was curious to see how all my internet marketing efforts had been going the last 8 weeks of marketing my business with ILG and my blog at http://www.kasecheah.com and trying to create a name out there for myself. Can you believe that around 8 weeks ago, no body really knew who I was on Facebook, I only had 238 friends on my profile, and frankly didn’t know a thing about Facebook marketing, internet marketing, writing articles, or how I could reach out and inspire people around the world or how to be really successful in MLM.

So I googled up “Kase Cheah wealth” today to see if it would ping my blog. And my jaw dropped when I saw,

I was astonished, and checked the link and saw that this morning I was rank 23 of wealth bloggs on NetworkedBlogs.com! I don’t even know how it got up there! It was so amazing for me because the last 8 weeks I have been just doing what I love and not really focusing on advertising my blog except to share my articles. Its like planting a seed in your back yard, nurturing it into a young seedling, going away for a few weeks then all of a sudden seeing a blossoming tree in your backyard!!! My aim is to get it to number 1, and I would love your help in helping me to do that.

I know many of you out there will stress, its the number of years of experience that matters and that it is very essential. I tell you it isn’t. If someone learns how to do something the right way, then if you’re taught to do it correctly and apply it with passion and enthusiasm, you will ultimately have better results than someone who has been doing it for years trying to learn themselves who isn’t very driven or motivated. Experience counts… but only if you’re learning correctly and efficiently.

I know this because it took me 4-5 years of studying nutrition, fitness, exercise to learn how to sculpt a great body, because I was learning most of this myself. It only really took me a few weeks to learn the right information and apply it immediately to get my results. I will be putting my before and after pictures to show you that sometimes blind faith and having a big enough WHY will always get you to your destination!!!

I have noticed that alot of people out there are feeling lost and it seems they have just lost their WHY’s and momentum with what happened in ILG and other parts of your life. I tell you that your why’s haven’t changed just your hows!

So it is with today I write my new article:

———————————————————————————————————-

1. Make sure your momentum is going forward.

Always make sure your going forward and not backwards. How do you tell? Because going forward even though it can be arduous and tough, like pushing a boulder will always be alot more pleasant that having a boulder that is going backwards and about to crush you. Having backwards momentum will always be painful. Having forward momentum even though hard, will always feel good. I give you an example. I am an avid weight lifter. Everytime I lift a heavy weight such as a bench press, each repetition is painfully hard, why?

Because its teaching my muscles to grow and adapt. Yes this is pain but in a good way, because everytime I conquer a weight, I know that I can aim for a higher weight next week, and I immediately feel good!!! Its like even though pushing a boulder up hill is painful, you know each step you take, you are making progress and getting closer to your goal. Now backwards momentum? This is me missing out a gym session, or eating more junk food that what is allowed in my one or two cheat meals a week. The pain is me knowing that missing out a session or eating the wrong food, is actually sending me backwards. Its like me trying to push the boulder up hill, then letting go of it for 1 second, and then having to cope with it falling on top of me.

So always make sure you’re pushing forward, and enjoying every step straight after, even if it may be tough and challenging. Each step will make you grow bigger leg muscles!!! Celebrate each success along the way.

2. Most people give up 95% of the way there.

This is probably one of the most fatal flaws in budding entrepreneurs, dreamers, strivers out there. You know sometimes alot of us will quit, when we’re on the verge of success. When you’re pushing that boulder up hill, guess what. The bottom of the hill almost looks exactly the same as near the 95% mark at the top of the hill!!! How do you tell if you’re making progress? Easy take a look at how far you’ve come, and what you’ve learnt!!! Even if you’re half way, you should see that the boulder is up halfway and you have to acknowledge and have gratitude for how far you’ve come!!! This will inspire you to keep going. Ahh but what if I’m pushing the boulder up the wrong mountain!

(Achieving the wrong goal). I suggest you go back to my blog http://www.kasecheah.com and read one of my first articles about choosing a passion that aligns with your values. Basically when you stop having fun, in accomplishing your journey it might be time to pick another mountain (goal). Honestly these last 8 weeks I have been spending around 4-5 hours a night week days and 10 hour days on the weekend, learning about internet marketing and relationship and attraction marketing. People say I’m crazy, but guess what I was and am still having fun… so I didn’t mind doing it. FUN is your element for measuring if you’re on the right path or not.

3. Getting started is the hardest part.

Have you noticed that starting something is always much much more harder than when you’re going through the motions. I can say this about almost anything I’ve started, whether its learning a new language, internet marketing, learning how to gym, learning a new sport, learning how to cook haha. Once you have learnt the basics, you start to build momentum, and this is where the secret lies. Once you know the basics of language structure, once you learn the basic mechanics of swinging a bat, how to combine ingredients, how to attract the right people, you start to build momentum going forward.

So this is where you have to keep pushing, learning, growing, till you push that boulder off the bottom of the mountain and start building momentum. Have you noticed that once you start building momentum its really hard to stop unless you choose to. Why is it so much harder to get started again after stopping? Its usually easier to keep going than to stop. Its like running a marathon, its all about keeping that momentum and not stopping even though you feel the burn.

But once you stop you know it’ll be very difficult to build momentum again. Stopping is like stopping when you’re half way up the hill, you have made alot of progress, BUT you have to stop the boulder falling on stop of you when you stop and let go. Its really mental strength and conditioning. Its easier to build momentum when you’re at the bottom of the hill because learning new things are exciting, the boulder is on a flat surface, there is no risk if you chose not to push it. But once you push it up the hill, you risk losing your progress, you risk feeling hurt for not accomplishing your goal and many other things. Getting started is the hardest part, but it is also the most fun and less risky aspect of most journeys.

4. You can’t stop a runaway boulder.

Don’t let go!!! Before you contemplate where you are on your journey make a decision before you take your action!!! All actions are bred from decision. For example, if you’re struggling with a current goal you’re trying to achieve, ask yourself, did you stop having fun half way through and focused on the wrong thing, or did you even ever have any fun at all when you started. If it feels like this goal you’re striving for doesn’t meet your passions or values, its probably doing more harm than good, then let go of the boulder KNOWING you don’t have to run back down the hill, chase it, try to stop it and push it back up again. IT’LL FLATTEN YOU! So before you decide to quit something, make a decision and stick with it. Are you just having a rest in the middle of the mountain, holding your boulder, or is this a boulder you want to let go? Remember once you let go, its very hard to go running after it, because you lose momentum and start instilling fear into yourself, for risk of getting hurt or flattened like a pancake!

5. You rarely see past your boulder, its outside your radar screen, but once you get to the top everything becomes clear.

Have you ever noticed that that when you are trying to achieve your goal you KNOW that you’re going forward but your vision always seems obscured at the start. Why because you’re at the bottom of the hill. Not only is the boulder blocking your vision, so is the whole base of the mountain. There’s no way you can see the top or whats on the other side. So whats the key? Check your progress, write it down, measure it, think about how far you come, what you have learnt. When you look backwards, are you in a better position now than when you were say a month ago? Also see if anyone is at the top of the mountain and ask them what it looks like!

Also are you beginning to see the light, meaning are you able to see more and more of the other side? You’ll notice that the higher you get up the mountain the smaller it becomes right? Because you’ve known you have conquered so much of it. But when you’re at the bottom it just seems like this tremendous thing blocking your way with no way around it! Learn to get started, and keep progressing, stepping forward and BE AWARE of your progress. Are things becoming easier, are you feeling more confident, do you feel more successful? Have the vision in your head at all times so you know where you’re going, but remember to be aware of your progress.

6. Friends and tools can push boulders, use leverage and get there much much faster.

Drop your ego! Don’t be stubborn. Its always critical to seek help, not reinvent the wheel and try to do everything yourself, if something isn’t working then stop trying to do it all yourself. This used to be a fatal flaw of mine, but when I gave this up and started learning from as many mentors as possible, boy oh boy was my progress fast!!! I mean do you really want to be pushing your boulder up the hill with a blindfold on? LOOK AROUND YOU! Maybe you can find another friend, to help you push the same boulder!

Do you really want to be the guy/girl pushing your boulder up the hill, all by your lonesome, and then looking 10 m next to you, theres this boulder thats flying up the hill because its being pushed by 10 people. Drop your boulder, let it roll to the bottom, help those 10 people push their boulder and then when they reach the top, ask them if they can help you push your boulder. Sometimes you have to help others get what they want, before you can get what you want. Learn to leverage, learn to network, and learn to model other successful people. Its really common sense if you think about it.

7. Positivity is nothing without momentum (its like wanting to get to the top of the hill with your boulder without pushing the boulder at all.

Don’t be a positivity fool and keep hoping, you must take action and apply and use your positivity to drive your momentum like rocket fuel). This is where there is a fine line being a positivity fool and a positive person who takes action and achieves results. Learn to take action and apply. Whats the point of all that positivity if you’re not going to do anything with it. Learn to help and inspire someone, learn to grow, to better yourself. This is what positivity is for.

Having positivity without a goal, or action or momentum is like you trying to get from A to B with just a bucket of fuel. Its just not going to get you there. You need a car or vehicle, which is action, goals, passions. So stop wondering around, stop thinking about the past and what could have been. Look forward, and if something bad has happened to you, use it as an excuse to learn more, to grow more, to light your passion on fire and have a burning desire to succeed, start pushing that boulder and show the world you are more than just one person, at the bottom of this tiny hill.

Together as a team we can move mountains and push boulders up incredible hills.

This is where I’ve decided to light some fire under everyone’s backsides hehe. I’m using this unfortunate series of events to have more passion, to have an even bigger drive to succeed, and I want to inspire any many people as possible to take my version of my 90 day challenge. I have been inspired by Eric Allen’s 90 day Transformation and John Fogg’s 90 day challenge as well. These are two men of tremendous proportions, they are like giants when they’re help you push your boulders up your hill!
